The Easter processions draw to a close in Santiago
de Compostela. Arrange of different processions can be
seen over the Easter period, from the very pagan to the
very traditional. The cross here is cariedthrough the streets
as flares are shot from the head of the line. The religeous
imagery comes through stronger with the use of black and
white and careful level alterations.

The procession progresses forward at a religious pace; slow. Our fixation with the communityand the cross is not to scorn, it is a remedy for catholics to enhance the strictures of faith. The understanding of the crucifix is to honourably observe the ritual of faith from birth to death. We are reminded of our fallibility in front of this symbolism. Written by E. Waller 24/03/10
